Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Finance Link processes when you use the financelink.it website and the platform, why it processes it and what rights you have. It applies to customers, to anyone who creates an account and to website visitors.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Finance Link. For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights, write to support@financelink.it.

2. What data we process

• Account data: name, email, phone number, Telegram username, country of residence, trading experience, password (stored only in encrypted form) and preferences.
• Payment data: chosen plan, amount, network and currency, the wallet address the payment comes from and the transaction ID. We do not process credit card or bank account details.
• Usage data: completed lessons, quiz results, settings, strategies, trading journal and the other content you save in the platform.
• Messages: the questions you ask the Finance Link AI assistant, community messages and support requests.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, date and time of access, error logs.
• Affiliate programme data: who invited you, who you invited, commissions earned and the address where you receive payouts.

3. Why we process it and on what legal basis

• To create and manage your account and give you access to the services you bought. Basis: performance of the contract.
• To check payments and keep the accounts. Basis: contract and legal obligations.
• To send you service emails, such as login, security and subscription expiry. Basis: contract.
• To send you messages about services similar to those you have already bought. Basis: legitimate interest; you can object at any time.
• For the security of the service, to prevent abuse and to fix errors. Basis: legitimate interest.
• To show times in your time zone, worked out from your IP address. Basis: legitimate interest.
• To pay affiliate programme commissions. Basis: contract.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not make automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

4. Who we share it with

We use suppliers who process data on our behalf, only as far as their task requires:

• Railway, for hosting the website and platform;
• Neon, for the database;
• Resend, for sending emails;
• Anthropic, to process the questions asked to Finance Link AI;
• ipwho.is, to work out the time zone from the IP address;
• Google Fonts, which provides the website's typefaces;
• Telegram, for internal staff notifications, for example when a payment arrives.

Cryptocurrency payments are recorded on public blockchains: by their nature, transactions are visible to anyone and cannot be deleted.

We may disclose data to the authorities when the law requires it.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some suppliers are based, or have servers, outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In these cases the transfer relies on European Commission adequacy decisions or on standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account data for as long as the account is open. When you ask us to close it, we delete or anonymise it within 30 days, except for data the law requires us to keep longer, such as payment data, kept for up to 10 years for tax and accounting obligations.

7. Your rights

You can ask at any time to:

• access your data and receive a copy;
• correct or update it;
• delete it, except for data we must keep by law;
• restrict its processing;
• receive it in a machine-readable format;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest, including messages about similar services.

To exercise them, write to support@financelink.it. We reply within one month.

If you believe your data is being processed incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

8. Security

Passwords are stored only in encrypted form, connections to the website are protected by HTTPS and access to data is limited to those who need it for their work.

9. Minors

The service is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18.

10. Cookies

The website only uses technical cookies and browser storage, needed for it to work. All the details are in the cookie policy.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top. Important changes are announced by email or inside the platform.
